Sharp Dressed Lad "Baxter"

Baxter is a solid black boy weighing 14 pounds, with the most distinctive and adorable little face that instantly melts your heart. I often call him my "lover boy" because that's exactly what he is - incredibly sweet, gentle, and full of quiet affection. 

He's polite and well-mannered, never pushy or demanding, and instead will patiently sit nearby, just waiting for his turn to be loved on. There's something so special about the way he looks at you - his expression is full of intelligence, warmth, and a depth that makes you feel like he truly understands you. 

Baxter carries himself with a natural confidence and ease, balanced and strong without ever being over the top. His temperament makes him so special. He has a calm, steady presence and a loving nature that makes him an absolute joy to be around. He's sensitive to his puppies and is attentive to their whimpers and it's so sweet to watch him interact with them. 

He also has the cutest little mischievous side. Baxter loves to quietly sneak into the laundry room to see if he can "borrow" a sock from the basket. If he succeeds, he'll proudly take his prize back to his bed and play with it like it's his own little treasure. He's never destructive and has never torn anything - he just seems so pleased with himself, like he's won a tiny reward. If the girls come to investigate he's so kind to share his loot with them.  It's one of the many little things that make him so endearing. 

He's not just a beautiful boy - he's the kind of dog. that leaves a lasting impression on your heart.
